14:52 – Leicester City’s forgotten striker Islam Slimani is set to exit the Foxes on a loan deal as Fenerbahce appears to be the Algerian’s next destination.

14:00 – Good afternoon, this is Ryan White and I’ll be keeping you up-to-date for the next hour as the deadline looms ever closer! Let’s have an in-depth look at the transfer goings in the English Football League….
13:59 – They say time flies when you’re having fun and it only feels like 10 minutes that we started this last hour of live blogging. I’ve been Connor Bennett and I’m handing over to the wonderful Ryan White who will accompany you for the next hour or so. Please do stick around!
13:55 – Wolves are certainly busy. They are reportedly in the market for a full-back and have asked Leicester City about the availability of Danny Simpson. He may not be a Portuguese player represented by Jorge Mendes but he would certainly fit in there, wouldn’t he?
13:51 – Reading defender Liam Moore had reportedly handed in a transfer request to the Royals amid Premier League interest but has taken to Twitter to confirm that he will be sticking around at the Madejski Stadium.

13:22 – United boss Jose Mourinho stated earlier that he was “not confident” of the Red Devils making a late move for a defender. His side have been linked with Maguire, Diego Godin and Jerome Boateng today but look unable to get a deal done with less than four hours left in the window.

13:16 – Spurs are still yet to make a signing despite believing they had a deal done for Aston Villa‘s Jack Grealish. Jim told us to keep an eye on that coming back up so we will do. He also told us that Harry Maguire wants to move to Manchester United but Leicester remained adamant he will stay at the King Power Stadium. Claude Puel’s pre-match comments of: “I can confirm he is going to Manchester…but only for a couple of hours with us,” seems to have poured cold water on that move.
13:14 – As Sky Sports’ Jim White told VAVEL earlier, it’s going to be “super busy till 5pm!” with plenty of Premier League clubs desperate to get moves done.
13:12 – For Wolves, they’ve been turned down by Manchester City’s Oleksandr Zinchenko but are waiting to confirm their deal for Leander Dendoncker. The Belgian is understood to be undergoing a medical and should be a Wolves player by the 5pm deadline.

Leicester City have signed Filip Benković and Cardiff have just confirmed their deal for Víctor Camarasa on loan from Real Betis.

12:53 – Accrington Stanley forward Kayden Jackson has moved to Ipswich Town, making it a club-record sale. The 24-year-old spent 2016/17 with Barnsley in the Championship but failed to make an appearance, but netted 16 in 44 league games for Stanley in League 2 last season.

12:32 – Ademola Lookman looks to be staying at Everton, ending a summer of interest from German side Red Bull Leipzig where he spent last season on loan. The 20-year-old scored five goals and provided four assists in just 11 Bundesliga appearances last season. He will hopefully get some serious first-team minutes at Goodison this term.
12:26 – Just to make absolutely clear that Courtois has signed on the dotted line, Real Madrid have released a video of the goalkeeper… well, signing on the dotted line. Courtois is officially a Real Madrid player and the Belgian has signed a six-year deal with Los Blancos.
